Meet Ms. Mercy Jose
Certified Career Counsellor | Kottayam, Kerala
Step Ahead is led by Ms. Mercy Jose, a career counsellor based in Kottayam, Kerala, with over two decades of diverse experience in education and corporate leadership. Her professional journey offers an informed perspective on academic decisions, workplace realities, and personal growth.
Mercy began her professional journey as a postgraduate mathematics teacher at St. Antony's Public School, Kanjirappally, and Mount Carmel Convent School, Pune. She later served for more than a decade in a manufacturing firm, progressing to Director of Finance and Administration. Her corporate experience strengthened her understanding of organisational leadership, decision-making, and professional development.
She subsequently served as Principal at Soli A. Poonawalla School in Pune, initiating programmes in student literacy, parent guidance, and school parliament activities. Today, she brings these experiences together to support students, graduates, and working professionals as they navigate important career decisions.
